3 Strides Towards Salvation – “Double Barrelled”

Appia Way, the narrow road, where Paul Walked Into Rome.

3 Strides Towards Salvation – Double Barrelled!

If we ask ourselves, or someone asks us… “How can I understand the importance of what is said about following Jesus?”, why not gather your thoughts around these 3 important strides in the Walk with Christ…

1. Follow Jesus (Light): “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)

  • “[26] and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:26)

2. Enter through Jesus (Gate): “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.” (John 10:7, 9)

3. Know Jesus (Shepherd): “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.” (John 10:14)

  • “Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.” (John 8:51)

These verses from John show Jesus’ teachings on following him, entering through him, and knowing him, obeying him – all leading to Salvation and Eternal Life.

Think Positive – Trust In God

There is no doubt that thinking positive is much easier when life is not difficult, but it is self-defeating to think that you can’t be positive in every circumstance. Be careful not to just focus on your problems but remember to also focus on and be thankful for your blessings. It is very important for each of us to learn how to have the victory in our minds in the midst of our problems. God’s Word reassures us that we are not just conquerors but more than conquerors even during life’s toughest moments (Romans 8:37).

When life gets tough, I often turn to Romans 8:35–39 to remind myself of God’s unwavering love. I try to remember that, at times, I may appear as a sheep being led to slaughter, but in the midst of these things, I am more than a conqueror.

To me, this simply means that we can always be assured of eventual victory. We may go through very difficult things, but following the principles God has set for us in His Word will bring us through safely every time. It is very helpful during difficult times to remember that they won’t last forever. That is what helps me keep my joy in adversity.

Prayer of the Day: God, I know that You love me and that I am more than a conqueror. I need you in my current situation. I believe victory is coming! I will trust You all the way to the finish,

In Jesus name, Amen.

Here goes…

S – “Sorry” – be Sincere in anything you want forgiveness for

Easy Tip To Help End The Day In Prayer and Sleep Better…

Last update: 02/02/2026

If You, like I can, struggle with being distracted in prayer, maybe try ending the day the “FAITH” way!

Here goes…

F – Favor
A – Accept
I – Illumination
T – Thanks
H – Hope

F – is for Favor, accept God’s Love and blessings and let them flow within your core, refreshing the Holy Spirit and let Your soul soften Your heart.

A – Accept the abundance of God’s gifts:
Love, Grace, Kindness, Peace and Joy, and fill everyday with them!

I – is for, Illumination… exercise Your spiritual connection with God through the Holy Spirit and feel the Light shine from within You and smile.

T – give Thanks to God for sending His Only Son to be crucified for ALL sins, past, present and future. Give thanks for EVERY single good thing or blessing in Your life today. Thank Him for everything good that has happened today, if nothing else, the breath in Your lungs, the sun, wind or rain on your face. You are loved!

H – In Hope, trust in God’s faithfulness and love, even when circumstances seem uncertain or difficult.

Now let the day go and look forward to waking up tomorrow.

The past is the past!

In Jesus’ Holy name. Amen.

God’s Love Is Unconditional…Agape Love

“God’s love for us is unconditional – Agape Love

God’s Agape Love is mentioned some 200 times in the New Testament:
Agape love is a selfless, unconditional love that prioritizses the well-being of others. In the context of God’s love for His children, Agape refers to God’s unwavering, sacrificial, and redeeming love for us all.

It’s the kind of love that:

  • Seeks the best for others
  • Gives without expecting anything in return
  • Isn’t based on emotions or circumstances
  • Is rooted in God’s character and nature

In short, Agape love is God’s love in action, demonstrated perfectly in Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for the whole of mankinds Salvation and Eternal Life.

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

God’s Love for Us is abundant and unconditional. He Love’s everyone equally. Accepting it, is our choice.  God gave us authority over the World and Our lives, to do with it as we wish…free will.

God gave us authority over the world and our lives, to do with as we wish. But to truly feel His love, we must walk a narrow path. The Gospel of the New Testament is not full of just simply stories (mainly parables) but historical facts and how to lead a good life. It is the “Word” given to guide us on how to live a good life as God wants us to.

Just imagine what the World would be like today, if EVERYONE Loved EVERYONE as God Loves us. He wants us to Love one another; no wars, no povety, no anxiety, no stealing, no murder, no adultary, no anger or hatred.  To experience, nothing bad. Not even a single bad thought, let alone deed. That is the World God wants us to enjoy with abundance.

However, we are mere flesh and are constantly under spiritual attack, don’t let the antichrist in. The closer we get to having Jesus as our true Brother, the stronger the attacks become. These are “Tests of Faith” and we need to trust in the Lord that he will help us pull through and enjoy His Victory over evil.

To help us, He gave us gifts and promises beyond our wildest dreams, far beyond what our imagination could picture. Once we accept His love in full we can embrace the Holy Spirit through faith.

As tri-part creations, Flesh (heart), Holy Spirit, and Soul. The Holy Spirit works on our soul, which in turn, works on our on our heart for it to be, a soft, compassionate, empathetic loving heart that God is pleased with.

We’re called to love ourselves and treat others as we would want others to treat us. We can’t fulfill this commandment unless we love ourselves first.

If you don’t like a part of yourself, start working on it today!

By building a special relationship with God, and it can take time, much time, on a journey, hand in hand (One of God’s promises is, he will NEVER leave you alone), we can have conversations with God at anytime, and learn to meditate with Him.  Fill your mind with only good thoughts, give Him praise for the good in your life, show kindness, empathy, and compassion to EVERYONE, even your worst enemy.

There’s less room for satan’s integression when we’re focused on God and good will. Try to have a mindset like Jesus – be kind at every opportunity.

God wants us to be full of love and joy, not sadness, stress or negativity. Use God’s free gifts to make you feel well and spiritually strong – they’re free, you don’t have to earn them, just know them and how to maximise them.

Colossians 3:12-14 NIV reminds us: “Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience… put on love, which binds them all together.”

When you fully accept God’s love and walk the narrow path, you’ll feel the light, smile, sleep better, and get opportunities to show kindness and love.

2 Corinthians 13:14
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”

Love is the number 1 gift from God.
We don’t have to earn it, we just need to grasp it with our whole heart.
God LOVES everyone equally, even the very worst person to have lived by judgement day.

God’s Gift:
1 John 4:7-8 NIV
[7] Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. [8] Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Once we accept His LOVE in full, and embrace the Holy Spirit through Faith, as tri part beings, Flesh (the Heart), Holy Spirit, and Soul, the Holy Spirit works on our Soul, that inturn works on our Heart until it is tender and brand new! A soft and empathetic heart, that Love’s everyone as God does. Whilst this is underway, we must learn to Love ourselves as we would want others too, or we won’t reach the ultimate Goal – Eternal Life beyoun our wilde dreams.

John 3:3 NIV
[3] Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

How can we possibly Love other’s, if we don’t Love ourselves first, and that can be a big ask as well.

By building that Special relationship with God, we can not only start to have conversations with Him, but start to meditate with Him.

The more we fill our minds with GOOD things, praise, thanking others at every opportunity, kindness, empathy, compassion, joy, asking God to forgive ourselves and thank him for everything good in our lives, there will be less and less room for Satan to mess with our thoughts. To try and think Holy like Jesus did, is a wonderful thing. Go for it, today!

God wants us to be full of Love and Joy. Not sadness, stress, anger, depression, anxiety. Use God’s “FREE GIFTS” to make you feel blessed and spiritual strong. Feel the Love.

The first thing we need to do is forgive anyone that has transgressed against us, and ask foregiveness from those that we have trangressed.
If we are to be as Joyous as God wants us to be, and they will not forgive You, then pray for them and let them go. God doesn’t want us to carry any baggage.

Enjoy the journey!

BUFF Up Your Faith

BUFF Up Your Faith Every Day!

Faith to me is not a “challenge, task or daily workout”…Some say “You MUST have STRONG Faith”. If you have, great, but that sounds hard to me!

I believe my faith is “Crystal Clear” and like all beautiful crystals, it needs a polish or a buff on a regular basis, so that it is clear, beautifully shiny, unblemished! The odd chip can be dealt with quite easily, by simply accepting God’s Favor in prayer. If it gets smashed, then “redemption” will rejuvenate it in no time.

So, here goes…

BUFF:
B – Blessed
U – Universe
F – Flavour
F – Faithful

B – Blessed. You are blessed as a believer in Jesus. Get it!

U – Universe. God created the Universe, and You are an important part in it, if you do Your part – Be kind.

F – Flavour. Don’t loose Your saltiness. Accept Jesus as Your Salvation. Be proud of It.

F – Faithful. Be Faithful to God and every soul You encounter. God NEVER tests Our faith. He wants us to be Joyous, not to hurt us.
God can move mountains!

God NEVER tests Our faith. He wants us to be Joyous, he Loces us unconditionally he will not to hurt us.

Of course, Satan will try to test Your faith, smeer it, chip it, try to smash it!, so look after it, like you would a piece of the purest crystal in the Universe that is in your care.

Satan brings ONLY death, destruction, strife, rejection and pain. Pathetic! – who needs him? Certainly not You or me!

Job done!

Amen. Amen!

Be Rooted In Christ

Walking the narrow path isn’t easy in this dark fast-track world, with all it’s trappings, but the rewards are abundant. May all who visit here find inspiration, guidance, and peace, regardless of age, race, or background.

We are committed to fostering a community that encourages understanding and growth.

Together, we can explore the teachings of Jesus and the promise of Salvation and eternal life, on earth and in heaven. A life of wonderous joy beyound our comprehension, peace and harmony, above anything we can possibly imagine.

When The Chips Are Down

When the chips are down!

When we’re feeling low one’s Faith can get foggy,  cracked or even worse, smashed. We may have relationship problems, financial problems, even worse we may feel misunderstood, isolated abandoned, rejected and we could feel up against the wall… I’ve certainly been there, but God is the only consistancy in our lives, our Rock and He is always there for us!

Rather than wallow in self-pity (You know, that there are millions in the world far worse off than ourselves) and stray off that narrow road.
Matthew 7:14 NIV

[14] But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find)…this is the perfect time to buckle up!

You should never take off the full armor of God, if you have, go to your spiritual wardrobe, grab it right now, put it on while reading…
Ephesians 6 14: 18, ASAP

[14] Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, [15] and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. [16] In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. [17] Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. [18] And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Note: Now pray for OTHERS!

And never take it off again!

Now, grab the buckle on the belt of Truth and pull it REAL tight!

Focus on God’s Love for You, and Your Love for Him!

He will never abandon you, He Loves You abundantly. Do not forget that.

I picked up on a word in Christian song one Sunday where the words said keep my Faith CLEAR.

Since becoming a Believer, a confidant of mine said how Strong my Faith was.

However, since hearing that term Clear Faith, the adjective “Strong” makes me feel that I need to do a workout every day. We don’t need to work hard to please and have Faith in God. However, I do feel the word clear is somewhat “transparent” 🤷‍♂️, however, “CRYSTAL CLEAR” gives me a whole new dimension to my MY Faith. Yes, I focus on Crystal Clear Faith, and all became right.

Those words stuck with me until writing the snippet BUFF up Your Faith.

If You are troubled, why not try it?

Believe in Your Salvation – You should already have the helmet on!

Yes, focus on Crystal Clear Faith, and all will become right. Hallelujah!

Be READY – He Comes Like A Theif

We should not wait. We should be encouraging one another to see the light. For the Word (The Truth), tells us clearly…

Revelation 16:15 says, “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.”

This verse warns about the unexpected return of Jesus, likening it to a thief. It’s a call to be prepared and vigilant, staying faithful and true to God’s word.

God wants EVERYONE to be saved. Even the very worst of us. As believers, we need to play our part in helping others. If we can each save 1 brother or sister, then Hallelujah!

The Way-The Truth is here to offer a stepping stone (should you need it) to Christ Jesus our Cornerstone, or simply to share with those you love, (that should be everyone), that just might need a boost of God’s love, encouragement, mercy, peace and all the abundant gifts, and eternal life, through faith in Christ Jesus.

Brothers and Sisters…Buckle up!

Some Basic Steps In Walking The Walk.

Some Basics  Steps to Walking with Jesus.

God asks of very little from us, nothing has to be erned or paid for.

1. Love Your Lord our God with all Your heart, mind (will) and soul

2. Love Your neighbour as Yourself. Learn to love yourself first, then show love and kindness to others in a way that You would want to be treated by them.
Theseare the  2 greatest commandments: Matthew 22:37-40

3. Accept and embrace God’s Gifts and abundant love, build Your Faith through your relationship with the Holy Spirit and it will guide you on your walk.
Matthew 7:7-8 –
James 1:17
These 3 simple points of guidance will help You walk in Peace with Jesus, enjoy all God’s  promises and gifts and through Righteousness  speak with Grace and allow Your to leave worries and strifes with God. With God, All is possible.

On your journey in walking the Way towards being a Child of God, Born Again, it is good to be anchored to a church community, even if you cannot always go, or indeed not at all on a Sunday (perhaps consider a lifestyle change to make Sundays the Sabbath), there are usually services and events other than Sundays. It should be a safe haven, providing comfort, peace teaching and fellowship.

It doesn’t say in the bible that you must go to a church service on a Sunday. It says keep the Sabbath Holy and also, “where 2 or more are gathered can be considered a Church. This does of course mean being in the Spirit, but that also means it should be a joyous time. Think about this and do not let “NOT” going to Church stop Your Faith from becoming Crystal Clear! Focus on God’s promise of Eternal Life on earth and in Heaven. A Life beyond our imagination.

Have a glorious day and remember to treat  EVERYONE as You would wish them to treat Yourself. God Loves You, and try not to over complicate.

Testimonial – Why This Site

A Testimonial

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. This is a short version of how and why I came to start this.

I am NOT on a mission to convert the world, but act as a connection to those who may need it, and a crutch that could be useful when our faith is tested. To let You, the members know, God has never deserted you and when fellowship is not available, for whatever reason, you can connect here.

I also invite you to add theway-thetruth.space to your phone’s home page, as a comfort blanket if needed. If you are on FaceBook, please consider joining our group at @Come-BenvenutaTW-TT.

I started to plan a trip to visit missionaries in Argentina, Chile, West-South-East Africa and the Philippines. So right now, I should have been somewhere in Africa.

Any, I changed my mind and decided to follow the final journey of Apostle Paul, from his shipwreck in Malta to his final destination, Rome. Acts 27 13:44 and 28 1:30, plus other historical references that I have researched, including Apostle Peter’s inverted crucifixtion in Rome.

Anyway, I had been to Malta, St Paul’s Bay, Mdina and Valletta, visiting every historical location where Paul went. Then Syracuse, Sicily, then the next stop was to be Reggio, Southern Italy…

However, I have been booking transport and accommodation as I travelled. I was using Lastminute.com and thought I had booked a hotel in Reggio, but it turned out to be the Grand Hotel Victoria in Bagnara… over an hour’s train journey aware. Needless to say, I did visit the expected locations in Reggio, but something amazing happened ❤️

I checked in, went to my room, now remember I should be in Africa now, let alone Reggio 😆. As I went down the stairs to the reception, my way was blocked by 2 members of an Italian group called The Way, mainly Catholics.

I was wearing one of my “Christian” style shirt, with a Lion and Jesus on. They stopped talking, the young man,  Nicole De Marco, looked at me and we started talking in English about why we were both there ❤️.

I simple said I was following Paul’s last journey, and told me about their group and invited me to a service they were holding in the hotel in a couple of hours time.

I took him up on the offer😊.

Wow…that night, at 3am, God spoke to me 😊

I am also rooted to my local church that is Anglican and very Gospel teaching based. They are my new family in Christ.

I did attend  a Thursday group of fellow Christians and it always seemed to get onto the subject of the Youth Revival in the Faith. The Way – The Truth, and how could we do more to help support and encourage others.

Well, Hallaillulia, God told me to start a new Facebook group, in English and Italian where this platform is available to anyone that might need it!

Now I don’t speak Italian, so, be mindful that Google Translate might not be perfect, but God creates everything!… He gave man and women an amazing gift, a brain that we can do what we want with… It is called “Free Will”.

Free Will can be dangerous, even evil (just look at some of today’s world leaders), as we see so much in our lives and war torn countries. That said, God will not take away free will. However, he still loves everyone on the planet and wants EVERYONE to have Eternal Life through Christ Jesus, Amen.

So we need to use technology for the good and speed to reach out. Time is running out, so Go Go Go!

I started the FaceBook group on or around the 7th December 2025, and then this website around the 14th December, for anyone to share and potentially contribute too.

My point is, whatever your denomination, open your heart to God (you do not need to earn God’s Love, you already have it in abundance, simply let it flow through you, and you will surely lead a blessed life, and through strong faith and righteousness you will get a new heart and be born again, baptised  with the Holly Spirit. Then you can do ANYTHING God asks you to do.

I have also started an Instagram page, but am finding it a nightmare, I may need some help, because I’m unsure that the Holy Spirit, or indeed Jesus are very good with social media. I know the devil is REALLY GOOD at messing with it!!!…so beware.

Feel at peace, feel the joy and have fun in life with Jesus. As children of God, Jesus is our brother, so buckle up!

Let us pray every morning, day and night for a global Revival, it can take just 10 seconds, at anytime!

In Jesus blessed name. Amen.

Be bold in your faith and love one another. God bless you.❤️

Be Joyous in Your Relationship with Jesus

It’s going to take some work, but inspired by my local church Sunday Preaching (John 7 39:42) on the 8th Feb 2026 and subsequently listening to Tim Keller’s preaching on  – The Gift of the Holy Spirit = 40mins.

Tim Keller says, “Here’s what I have to tell you. I know who the real rock is, and I know what it means to have the real provision. I know what the real water is”.  Jesus said “Come to me, and living water will flow out from you.”

Now, what’s he saying?  Is it a lot of wonderful feelings? Is it a social vision for the world? Is it a pattern of ethical behavior and upright living? Of course, of course, it’s all those things. But primarily, first of all, the essence of Christianity is direct experience of God. God’s life blood, God stuff, God’s substance, his spirit penetrating you. That’s what makes biblical religion different. Direct, immediate connection with the very love, life blood, the substance, the stuff of God.

Here, listen to the importance of this. What is the heart of biblical religion? What is Christianity ultimately? Is it a lot of right doctrines? Is it a lot of wonderful feelings? Is it a social vision for the world? Is it a pattern of ethical behavior and upright living? Of course, it’s all those things, but primarily, first of all, the essence of Christianity is direct experience of God – God’s life blood, God’s substance, His Spirit penetrating you. That’s what makes biblical religion different. That’s what makes historic Protestant Christianity different from other brands – direct, immediate connection with the very love, life blood, the substance, the stuff of God.

I realized that we live in New York City, where people are so empty that people can make an idol out of experience. And I know that our feelings are not things that we can always listen to, and we can never, for example, follow our feelings when they take us against the truth of God.

And yet, listen, here’s a Baptist minister, Charles Spurgeon, who I love to quote. So often, Spurgeon says this: “Some of us know what it is to be too happy to live.” Are you in that club? The love of God has been so overpoweringly experienced by us on some occasions, but we almost had to ask God to stop the delight, for we couldn’t endure no more. And if God had not veiled His glory in His love a bit, we would have died for joy.

You know, I know that danger. I know the danger of making experience into an idol, another danger of feelings carrying you away. But I want you to ask, you know, what he’s talking about. Have you had anything like… what makes biblical religion different from other kinds of religion is this: 2 Peter 1, verse 4, “We have been made partakers of the Divine nature.” The Spirit of God, (the stuff of God), the lifeblood, the substance of God penetrates. Direct contact, not contact to a priest, not contact through the sacrament, not something general. There’s plenty of churches that will say, “Listen, listen, this needing, of the infusion of the spirit from above, this born-again, Child of God conversion stuff… look, just get out there and live a life of justice and compassion, and that will please God.” But the Bible says, “Nonsense. Ethical behavior is of no help unless you’re quickened by the Spirit of God.” Direct, personal contact with Him – that is the essence of true biblical religion. That’s the essence of Christianity. Accepting God’s Gifts and the Fruits of the Spirit are essential in walking the narrow road of salvation and eternal life.  Don’t wait.

Please, do not underestimate, therefore, the importance of what Jesus is saying. There’s religions of formality and there’s religions of reality. And I know that in any service that I preach at today, any service, there are people sitting alongside of each other who are in both camps. Do you have the gift of the Spirit? Do you know this kind of religion?

Now, let’s take a look at this gift, and this: three things Jesus tells us about it. One, He tells us how the gift is actually prepared, how God prepares it, how God procures it for us. And secondly, He tells us how the gift is received. But then, thirdly, He’ll tell us how the gift uses us – how do you know if you have it? What does it look like? What will it be like if you have prepared, received, and how it works itself out in the effects in our lives?

Look, how prepared. This very cryptic statement, which we’ve got to explore for a moment, it’s right here: “Up to that time, the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not been glorified.” Now, I don’t want you to misunderstand again the import or the impact of this remarkable claim. Up to now, it says, because Jesus hadn’t been glorified. And in the book of John, Jesus’ moment of being glorified is his death. That’s why, when Jesus is about to die, He puts His arms out. Here, in the book of… now, will I be glorified? It’s the death, isn’t it? Not until He dies has the Spirit been given. That’s a pretty remarkable statement.

What we’re looking at is a presence of God issue. In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit and the presence of God are the same thing. So, for example, whenever we talk about getting our Samson or David, or one of these great heroes, the Spirit of God descending on that person to give him power for great feats… indeed, also told, “And God was with him, and the hand of the Lord was with him.” The presence of God and the Holy Spirit are the same.

There’s that wonderful prayer, the famous prayer of confession, Psalm 51, where David, in verse 6, says, “Cast me not away from thy presence, thy face… don’t take me away from your presence, your face.” The word “presence” is that Hebrew word “paneem,” face. “Take not thy Holy Spirit from me.” Same thing when Moses is speaking to God on the mountain, and God says, “Look, you guys can go to the mountain, you guys can go to Canaan, that’s fine, but I’m not going with you. How will you be helped from afar? I’ll… that’s what I think, but I am not going to go with you.” And Moses says, “If you don’t go with us, and if your presence goes not with us… I’ll put my presence, my Holy Spirit, in the Holy of Holies, in the tabernacle, in the temple, and over the Ark of the Covenant.” Over the Ark of the Covenant, which is like the footstool of His throne, there was the Shekinah glory, the Holy Spirit there, was the cloud of His presence, there was His paneem  And He says, “Moses, that’s the place where I’ll speak to you face to face, that’s the place where I’ll meet with you.” The presence of God and the Holy Spirit are the same thing.

Now, the thing that’s so remarkable about this claim is that we know, as I just quoted for you, that the Spirit of God was very active in the days before Jesus. The Spirit of God came on Samson, and came on Gideon, and came on David, and came on King Saul, and came on Moses, and all of this. So, how in the world could David, could Jesus say this, that the gift of the Spirit is about to be given? How could John, the apostle, say this? It’s a relative term, the word “given.” The only possible explanation is that Jesus is saying, “You know how the Spirit of God came upon the people in the Old Testament? You haven’t seen nothing yet. What I have in store for you, compare to what they had, is so much greater than we can talk about. The Spirit of God virtually not even being here… we see it’s a relative turn, it’s a figure of speech.”

You can talk about a team, but if your team, if your football team loses 54 to nothing, the sports writer might say, “They didn’t even show up.”  What does that mean? They weren’t there, just so great, so much greater in comparison, that you could say, “At the other team, that our losing team wasn’t even there.” How else do you explain the fact that when Jesus says, “You know John… about this, he was a great one, John the Baptist, yes.” He says, “Jesus says, in Matthew 11, ‘In all the history of the world up to now, John the Baptist is greater than all the prophets. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

[7] The Lord said to Moses, [8] “Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.”
[10] He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, “Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?” [11] Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.
