Kindness Chunck – A Fruit of the Spirit

Kindness
“Following the two greatest commandments – loving God with all your heart, mind, and soul, and loving your neighbour as yourself – the spiritual fruit of Kindness rises to the top!

If you want to be blessed, even doubly blessed, then be kind. It’s so easy to walk past someone who needs a kind word or a small favour, yet these tiny acts of kindness are opportunities waiting to be seized every day.

“In short, try to do random acts of kindness at every opportunity!”

Stay aware of those around you and tune into their emotions. This isn’t about being intrusive or nosy; it’s about being present and compassionate. When you’re connected to God, You’ll know the right moment to act and the words to say.

As Your spiritual wellbeing grows, bigger opportunities will unfold, and greater blessings will follow. Kindness uplifts others and fills you with an inner glow and outward radiance. Also, if someone shows you an act of kindness, don’t shun it – you might be denying them a blessing, or even double blessing. Don’t boast about good works; simply lead by example and others will see the kindness in you.

Matthew 6:2 NIV [2] “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.

Amen!

Matthew 11:28-30 NIV
[28] “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Matthew 25:40-41 NIV
[40] “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ [41] “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Colossians 3:12-15 NIV
[12] Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. [13] Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. [14] And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. [15] Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

Numbers 12:3 NIV
[3] (Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.)
