DAILY Devotional History
01/02/26 – God Moves In Mysterious Ways – No, i’s in His plan for us!
Whether Your Faith is Crystal Clear, or you are still a work in progress with an open heart, that fulfilling relationship with God will transform your life forever. He will be the leading light in Your life, and Wow, You will not regret it!
He Will make things happen for You, and those you pray for and hold dearly. But, not necessarily how you may expect.
It is likely that God will present you with opportunities You will see as “coincidences or fate”. Situations that might be small, some life changing, but be sure, they will make you feel good, possibly amazing and blessed beyond your dreams.
Be open to seeing these things, when they happen, however BIG or small, embrace them and thank God with all your heart and soul.
They will happen everyday. Be aware of the smallest of blessings in your life. If you are reading this, then you are breathing, seeing and decerning. Give thanks.
God Moves In Beautiful Ways!
Amen.
30/01/26 – When the chips are down!
When we’re feeling low one’s Faith can get foggy, cracked or even worse, smashed. We may have relationship problems, financial problems, even worse we may feel misunderstood, isolated abandoned, rejected and we could feel up against the wall… I’ve certainly been there, but God is the only consistancy in our lives, our Rock and He is always there for us!
Rather than wallow in self-pity (You know, there are millions in the world far worse off than ourselves) and stray off that narrow road.
Matthew 7:14 NIV
[14] But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find)…this is the perfect time to buckle up!
You should never take off the full armor of God, if you have, go to your spiritual wardrobe, grab it right now, put it on while reading…
Ephesians 6 14: 18, ASAP
[14] Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, [15] and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. [16] In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. [17] Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. [18] And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
Note: Now pray for OTHERS!
And never take it off again!
Now, grab the buckle on the belt of Truth and pull it REAL tight!
Focus on God’s Love for You, and Your Love for Him!
He will never abandon you, He Loves You abundantly. Do not forget that.
I picked up on a word in Christian song one Sunday where the words said keep my Faith CLEAR.
Since becoming a Believer, a confidant of mine said how Strong my Faith was.
However, since hearing that term Clear Faith, the adjective “Strong” makes me feel that I need to do a workout every day. We don’t need to work hard to please and have Faith in God. However, I do feel the word clear is somewhat “transparent” 🤷♂️, however, “CRYSTAL CLEAR” gives me a whole new dimension to my MY Faith. Yes, I focus on Crystal Clear Faith, and all became right.
Those words stuck with me until writing the snippet BUFF up Your Faith.
If You are troubled, why not try it?
Believe in Your Salvation – You should already have the helmet on!
Amen.
29/01/2026 – BUFF up Your Faith Every Day!
Faith to me is not a “challenge, task or daily workout”…Some say “You MUST have STRONG Faith”. If you have, great, but that sounds hard to me!
I believe my faith is “Crystal Clear” and like all beautiful crystals, it needs a polish or a buff on a regular basis, so that it is clear, beautifully shiny, unblemished! The odd chip can be dealt with quite easily, by simply accepting God’s Favor in prayer. If it gets smashed, then “redemption” will rejuvenate it in no time.
So, here goes…
BUFF:
B – Blessed
U – Universe
F – Flavour
F – Faithful
B – Blessed. You are blessed as a believer in Jesus. Get it!
U – Universe. God created the Universe, and You are an important part in it, if you do Your part – Be kind.
F – Flavour. Don’t loose Your saltiness. Accept Jesus as Your Salvation. Be proud of It.
F – Faithful. Be Faithful to God and every soul You encounter. God NEVER tests Our faith. He wants us to be Joyous, not to hurt us.
God can move mountains!
Satan brings ONLY death, destruction, strife, rejection and pain. Pathetic! – who needs it? Certainly not You!
Of course, Satan will try to test it, smeer it, so look after it, like you would a piece of the purest crystal in the Universe that is in your care.
Job done!
God NEVER tests Our faith. He wants us to be Joyous, not to hurt us.
Satan brings ONLY death, destruction, strife and pain…KICK HIM OUT!
If You hear him, simply Praise God out loud and he will be gone!
Amen. Amen!
28/01/2026 – Shine!
We can ALL struggle with our Mental & Spiritual Strength, and need a boost!
We cannot reflect God’s Light if we are dull in Heart & Spirit. Always worth a freshen-up!
So to reflect God’s Will and Love for US, could we try and – SHINE!
S – Scripture
H – Heart
I – Inspiration
N – Negativity
E – Eternal
Let’s see if this might help You:
S – Scripture – read even just a verse or 2, maybe you have your own favourites:
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
H – Heart – simply close your eyes, take a few slow but deep breaths and let Your soul confirm again your trust in God’s Love for You.
I – Inspiration – Jesus always encouraged others, by example, to be kind and generous to others, look to be an Inspiration to others by deeds and not words.
N – Negativity – remove it from your mind, heart and soul and be POSITIVE in Your Hope for Salvation.
E – Eternal – Eternal life is not just about life after death. No, it is from NOW. Try to lead your life on the narrow path and rooted in God’s Word, especially Kindness and Empathy (not pity).

Bridle your tongue.
We stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect able to keep their whole body in check.
James 3 :2
According to James, the litmus test for our spiritual maturity isn’t rooted in how religious we are, whether we can quote scripture, or whether we do an abundance of good works instead, it hinges on the words that flow from our mouths.
James 1 :26 says, “If anyone thinks himself to be religious (piously observant of the external duties of his Faith) and does not bridal he’s tongue but deluded his own heart, this person’s religious service is worthless (futile, barren)”.
No matter how religious you think you are, the true test of your spiritual maturity is whether you “Bridle” your tongue or not. Bridle means to restrain or control. If we don’t learn to control our words, we hinder our spiritual growth and full short of the maturity God desires of Us.
Prayer for today:
Lord, through your grace I’m empowered to control the words I speak. May my words be guided by your wisdom and Grace.
In Jesus’ name Amen.

By Terry Howell – My 1st, so please read to the bottom (there is a bonus). All feedback is welcome.
God’s Gift of Kindness.
Kindness must be up there with the greatest of God’s gifts available to us, and the great news is that all God’s gifts are free, we do not need to earn them. So no work there!
Some acts of kindness a very simple asking someone how they are, giving up a seat for someone, or maybe opening a door for someone. However simple each act given and received offers blessings. The more complex the help more the blessings, so don’t hold back.
Asking for help can create numerous blessings and benefits.
A fresh example from just two days ago that led me to write my first devotional:
I’ve been knocked sideways mild case of food poisoning, mild as I was not admitted to hospital but extremely unpleasant. Two and a half days in, I needed help. I needed someone whose heart was right and I could depend on. I needed some specialied food to try and get my system working again.
Darrell, God told me 😉. Darrell and I have history, and the understands the path I’m on. Darrell knows he leeds a bit of a hectic life, large family, cash is tight, but he does work from home. He’s a good lad.
The call takes place “Darrell, it’s Terry I could do with some help.” “What is it?”, I explain but I need some simple foods to help to try and get my gut started again. ” of course I will give me a list and I’ll get to the shops within half an hour and drop them down to you”! Not a flicker, not a moments hesitation, just what I needed.
So, I sorted the list we agreed and off we went about an hour later the call from the supermarket, concerned that he might get the wrong thing, but as we talked on the phone a lady chipped in and helped Darrel find the right thing. Or was that an angel on his shoulder comma more on that later.
They’re all completed the task with flying colours, delivered the goods, perfect and I gave him sufficient money to cover the food, his time and expenses. Amen.
Now, this got me thinking…
“Kindness” and what really happened here. I realized that blessings had been going backwards and forwards like crazy, an angel had been on Darrell’s shoulder and Darrell and myself were so pleased, we felt good as God would want us to feel.
So what about all these blessings, I needed to make a score sheet, and this is it:
1. When we are asked by someone (a) for help, a, gets a 🙌 for giving the recipient (b) an opportunity to receive 🙌s (a1 – b0)
2. If b accepts the challenge then b gets a 🙌, and a another to a, for b’s opportunity. (a2 – b1)
3. B now has an angel 😇 on the shoulder the whole time of the task in hand. If b tries his best but fails, b still gets a 🙌 because of trying and should not feel bad, but pleased at being given the opportunity (a2 – b2),
4. If however, b (still with the angel) succeeds in the mission, however small, b gets a 🙌 and should feel good! So by “a” having given “b” the opportunity to feel “good”, a, and, b get a 🙌 (a3 – b3)
5. If b offers help (kindness) before being asked, then the scores change and b wins a3 – b4)! 😄
6. Plus! The the good deed, gets added to b’s Book of Life! 🤗
Prayer For Today:
Dearest Father, God Almighty.
Help me to understand the power of Your Gift of Kindness. May opportunities present themselves to me in evryday, even if I am not able to take up the challenge, and let me not deny another of a blessing and entry into the Book of Life, who offers me help, by turning them down.
I hope you like my 1st Devotional. If you would like to write one, then let me know. E: ask@theway-thetruth.space

A Right Attitude
Constantly renewed in the Spirit of Your Mind and having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude.
Ephesians 4: 23
No situation in life brings our true attitudes like trials and troubles. Trials develop patience and perseverance . (James 1:3), but as I have been through trials in my life, I found a of other things out of me long before I got to patience. Mostly, they brought out bad attitudes that needed to be for God who use me.
We can actually maintain good attitudes during times of trouble if we believe difficulty will produce blessings in our lives in the end.
I encourage you to take time to truly think about your mindset and especially consider how you react when you go through difficulties. If you notice yourself heading down a negative path. Remember: you can shift your thinking before it goes too far. You can always choose a positive perspective and Grace.
Pray for today:
Dear Lord, I believe that a positive attitude as the power to transform a negative Circumstance into a blessing! , oh God, and know my heart. Test me and know my anxious thoughts. Grant me the strength to change what needs to be changed. Amen.

It All Begins in the Mind!
05/01/2026 Goals
Why is it important for us to set goals?
Goals keep us focused on our primary mission and helps us to structure our lives. Jesus’ goal, of giving salvation, shaped the way he lived every day and guided his every interaction with others. We are also tempted to do too much, but god gives us only what we can accomplish while living a godly balanced life. God Is Not glorified by our doing everything we possibly can but by us fulfilling the specific tasks he has for us.
God’s Response
Even I, the Son of man, came here not to be served, but to serve others, and to give my life as a ransom for many.
Mark 10 45
I brought glory to you here on Earth by doing everything you told me to do.
John 17 4
God’s Challenge
I run straight to the goal with purpose in every step, I am not like a boxer who misses his punches.
1 Corinthians 9 26
Elijah prayed “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see”, the Lord opened his servants eyes, and when he looked up saw the hillside around Elijah filled with horses and charity of there
Isaiah 55 8:9
